TF Quest is an erotic text-heavy turn-based clickable-text-input roguelike game which can be run in Windows, older versions of MacOS (newer versions have to use the glitchy Gargoyle or emulate Windows) , Linux, and (to some lesser extent) Android and iOS.
The moving pieces in TF Quest - from how big your boobs are, to how long your skirt is, towhat NPCs are around and how they feel about you, to how much cum is on and in you, to how thirsty and hungry you are, to what your classes and quests are, to so, so much more - all interact with each other in meaningful ways, moreso than pretty much any other adult game out there. Where in most other games, most of these things are purely window dressing with zero gameplay impact, in TQ, everything is important, and everything has consequences.
The game's premise is that you're playing a very difficult virtual reality game and your body is transformed and your mind awakwens to your true innermost nymphomaniac desires in response to the events that happen in the game while you search for the exit.
Despite this being a game with enemies, combat and so on, there is always a safe word that you and other characters can use to magically escape anything you're not enjoying and do not wish to consent to.
The primary type of transformation in the game is 'bimbofication', a bimbo being a superficial person whose appearance, attire and behaviour is overtly sexually provocative. You can choose to play as male or female; for a male character this transformation can include helping you release your inhibitions and identify yourself as the hottie you've always dreamed to be, and/or actual biological transformation into a woman (depending on your game options selections) and will always include feminization, including the wearing of highly feminine and revealing clothing.
Other transformation content that can be enabled/disabled includes but is not limited to:
- Pregnancy
- Lactation
- Weight gain
- Extreme proportions
- Artificial enhancements (breast implants, lip augmentation, etc…)
- Air inflation
The game is built around a robust set of game mechanics that I’ve been working with the player community over 10 years (and counting) to perfect and balance, including:
- Traps
- Combat (with a large variety of non-player characters, each with their own unique traits and lots of varied art)
- Inventory management
- Humiliation level management
- Exhaustion/health/arousal management
- Hunger and thirst
- Potions, food, and drinks with positive/negative/transformative effects
- Crafting
- Uncursing/blessing/durability/transformation of clothing and items
- Cravings/obsessions that get reinforced when satisfied
- Themed character classes with their own mechanics
- Allies and bosses
- An NPC favor/hostility system
- A shop system
- Interactive environments
- Optional sub-quests
- A map display that’s revealed as you explore
- An interactive character display window that toggles between depicting your current body proportions or your current clothing.
The level layouts, crafting recipes, and loot selection and enchantments are randomized in every playthrough, and this, combined with the absolutely huge amount of content that's been added over a decade, makes the game infinitely replayable. Playthroughs typically last between 2 and 5 hours, but your first run will take a long time as you get used to everything.
The game is designed to be very difficult. While it’s possible for your character to successfully reach the exit as the same person they were when they started, in practice this never happens. The game is designed to overwhelm and disempower you, and punish you for the compromising choices you’ve had to make. The object is to, through its mechanics, immerse you in your character's feelings of submission. This is not a game that you’re supposed to win; it’s a game that’s supposed to beat you and make that experience enjoyable.

1) Unzip the ZIP file
2) Run Git.exe
3) Select the file that is named TQ followed by a date, and then ends in .gblorb
If you have some crappy antimalware software that doesn't like our custom version of Windows Git, you can download an official one from https://github.com/DavidKinder/Git/releases/
You may find that the newer ones still upset some AVs, but 1.3.5 has never been known to trip any alarms.

Encountered a softlock in the Royal Training halls, the receptionist had some how left the teleport room and was stationed in another corridor and the teleporter kept saying it was out of charge. Thankfully i had a mushroom in the inventory and eating it teleported me back to the dungeon.
The teleport started working again, i could then teleport back to the training halls and the teleported worked again there as well.
The issue happened after getting the sold gold band, speaking to the trapped princess and exploring every other room to try and find a way out with no luck until i tried the mushroom.
I got softlocked in the tutorial twice; the solemn guard stole my PC's swimsuit when he was done with them, leaving me unable to obey the instructions to put the swimsuit on the altar.
Also, is there a way to disable the images of semen coming out of the PC's orifice(s) without disabling all images?
Every time I try to play this game I get a stack underflow error when starting the game, even on a new install. What can I do to fix this?

I really like the game but in which world do red hair and blonde hair combine to purple? I expected the mix between the two to result in Ginger hair.
Also, I appreciate that most things show up on your character model but out of all the things to not be accurate, it's the breast size? When we start the game, the character is completely flat (unless you changed a setting) but the model still has quite a rack.
It would be competely impractical to illustrate the items of clothing for various breast sizes so we just chose one. Each game file comes with both a clothing window and a body window which can be toggled with a button. So if you want to see what your BODY looks like, you click the button to look at the body window, and if you want to see what your outfit looks like, you click the button to look at your clothing.
I just started the game and realized that I accidentally picked a wrong setting. How do I reset the game? I am using the Roguelike setting, so deleting the Save File won't do.
There's a roguelike save file called "dont touch me" that you can delete. Also you can use "restart" but this does funky stuff to the colour scheme sometimes, so it's best to hit "restart" to delete the savefile and then close and re-open the game properly.
Ah thank you. Wait, could I back up and restore that Roguelike Save File to circumvent the lack of saving? Asking for a friend of course.
There may be some secret shenanigans in the background that detect that and then surprise you later in the run with the reveal that the game is aware you've backed up and restored a roguelike save file and now must be punished for it...

Wasn't the game's name about the other meaning of trap? The one used in things like beartrap, mousetrap etc. Why would it need to be changed because of an unrelated bad use most people don't even know about? It's like renaming bananas because their name is sometimes used as a slur for Chinese people.

I never knew that but I still remember when the beginning was changed so that the player character isn't undergoing forced changes so don't tell me the game wasn't changed to conform to those stupid consent rules. Don't get me wrong, consent is paramount in reality but when I play these kinds of games I want my player character to be force femmed.
It was to make it more okay under UK law, which does, in fact, suck, but is a different thing than the PayPro issues.

The name change wasn't payment processors, it was backers not wanting it to be associated with what's mostly a transphobic slur. (The game's actually got a pretty big trans fanbase!)
I get that transphobic assholes would make that connection but I always saw that the game was named after all the traps in the game.

Use your arrow keys and enter to navigate the menus and configuration.
This is a text input game. It has a prompt where you type the commands. The buttons in the game will just generate the commands on the prompt. And at that point of the game, there are no buttons yet.

Look at the very first link in the descriptoin. Where it says (to some lesser extent) Android and iOS.
The game is a file for a virtual machine. So you need to run an app that can run that file. And for the small size of most Android screens, some tweaks are recommended in the guide that is linked. Also, it might not run well. But it does not run well on Windows either... The vm does not utilize modern hardware, like multiple cores and lots of memory.
Can you make a easier way to play on mobile
There is a remake in Godot in the works. Maybe that is easier playable on mobile, but that might quite a while.

Your second objective is, to gather as much wealth (jewelry) as possible ... you need cash to pay the game fee ... and to reverse all (unwanted) modifications the game forced on your MC ...
In any case ... you don´t "win" the game ... you just "beat" it one way or the other ...

Is it possible to manually input/edit player name after character creation? And if so, how? I know the teachers can change your name for you, but its not a choice..
I found an issue with the Minotaur. I got caught by it and couldn't get free no matter what. When it finally passes out it traps you so you still can't escape. Resisting results in the same outcome as well. I had to scrap that run completely because of the infinite loop.
If the Minotaur took you from behind, you have to wait for him to recover and his dick to deflate ... it´s meant to be that way for increased humiliation ...
"Wait" when he´s done and a "clock" should appear on the image ... click the "clock" for "Long Wait" ... or keep waiting manually ... resisting just affects the increase of damage/soreness during sex ...
If the Minotaur took your snatch, you should be free after he blew his load ...
I had assumed that's what I should do, but immediately after the minotaur wakes up I'm stuck in sex again until he passes out and then I'm stuck under him again. Infinite loop
If you wait for the Minotaur to FULLY recover, he will leave you alone ... if you poke him/wake him up, he will resume pounding you until exhausted again ...

Any way, is the dialogue tied to how we make our characters by any chance? I agree, if you configure certain kink options, you could expect the character to have different starting opinions on the scantily clad ladies at the beginning. Especially if you configure the exhibitionism trait. But I think this one panel just serves as establishing that the character is not starting as a bimbo. Those colored lines are thoughts of the character on topics throughout the game. And the deeper you dive into a particular fetish, the more favorable the comments get, when encountering the fetish topic. Those traps and engaging in activities change your disposition.

I think there's bread in the game? Not 100% sure of that though. I know there's potato chips, but for some reason my brain is claiming to have seen pretzels (which would be made of bread) at the very least.
But you know what I can't recall ever seeing in there at all? Breakfast cereal. Also, sorry to see the comments overrun by one person who keeps insisting that huge swathes of the LGBT community are put-off by the game instead of just stating what they personally dislike about it. (As if vast numbers of people are even aware of the game!) I'm guessing this person is on the younger side. I've always felt like the feminization fetish is a product of my (our?) generation -- folks who grew up in the 80's and 90's, a time of extreme homophobia (and hate of all things "deviant"). It's a way to delicately navigate our genuine desires without bumping into the very real fear of ostracization. i.e. within the fantasy of the fetish it "isn't really a choice" sidestepping deep old feelings that I'll lose all my family, friends, and community because it's "wrong". Those same comments could have been made by an extreme animal rights activist upset about the depiction of the dog, someone who believes that cosmetic surgery is immoral, someone offended by fantasies involving control or domination, someone who believes that all porn is harmful and evil.. the list goes on. 1-2. My main criticism is that the games overall excecute of its theme, especially in relation to the prologues and other flavor texts, is really mean spirited and potentially, very likely in my opinion, very bad tastefully to the larger LGBT demographic and like it attracts the more unsavory crowd. Of course it's just my opinion, but outside of this particular community I think it's true. But stated the developer of the game has the right to have the game in any shape that they want, but what I don't get is then being surprised or denying it attracts a said certain crowd of the more, antagonistic kind. The actual game mechanics as I've said are functionally unique and like how it's a rogue-like so on a purely aesthetic and mechanical level I got no complaints.
3. As for homophobic and transphobic, going to give a few examples but think you agree the main "draw" of these kinds of projects is the objectification and primal, raw, ugly lust that is latent in every human. Which normally it's just like "Oh, not my thing but to each their own!" but in this particular instance I think it would be smart to step back and really think about what they're into, why they like it, and why they're consuming/making it. For example, I know one of the endings, think "Rich Shemale," is self-explanatory. Another is the constant use of the word "faggot." And especially playing as a male character, the mechanic of them of becoming more and more feminized means more harshly treated and treated like "corruption" and/or something bad, think it's safe to say it's just part of the beast. Oh and the name in the first place, "Trap," which makes the title change more peculiar since they still have all that other stuff, not complaining though they're sanitizing the game.

Actually think that a male character who likes their masculinity or a woman character who doesn't care for or like girly things getting feminized and/or "sissified" one way or another makes room for a LOT of story telling, and of course hotness, potential. So, is the tutorial just broken? solemn royal guard just creampied my ass and now I can't do anything but going east. Can't stand up because the game tells me to only do that when instructed. Can take the glass in my hand but can't use it because I'd need to be standing up, can't talk to the guard, can't resist, can't steal from the guard, can't do anything. And if I go east, the tutorial wants me to put the swimsuit, that the guard stole from me and that I was unable to get back, on the altar. And I can't go back to the guard because "there's no going back in this tutorial"

edit found out how to solve it after resisting try to stand up instead of resisting again than you will manage to not loose it and can leave the room
